Government school update

Current Flux

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger just signed a bill that prohibits the use of the terms “mom and dad” and “husband and wife” in California’s public schools. The law also allows boys to use girl’s restrooms and girls boy’s restrooms.

In Portland, Maine the School Committee approved a plan to pass out contraceptives in middle schools. Now children as young as 11 years old will have access to condoms and birth control pills.

Some will view these programs as another example of the failure of the government schools. But just the opposite is the case. Government schools were never meant to educate. Their purpose is to create stupid, pliable, and sexually perverted “citizens” who question everything except the authority of the government. And they are doing a smashing good job of it. Just look who the government school-educated Christian leaders are endorsing for President.

Read The Underground History of American Education if you don’t believe government schools have always had this agenda.

  1. Rather than just say “if you don’t agree with me read this book,” I would rather have seen a review of the book, that is, (a) a brief summary of the main argument of the book, and (b) a scholarly weighing of the proffered evidences.

  2. Maybe some day. But while you await the review, read the book.

  3. If the so-called “Christian” right thinks that what Schwarzenegger is doing is bad in California (and they would be right about that), just wait until they hold their noses and vote for thrice-married serial adulterer Rudolph W. Giuliani. He and Rudy are cut out of the same godless, humanist, liberal cloth.

  4. So when the terminator called the democrats “girly mons” maybe he didn’t mean anything bad by it after all.

  5. You forget to mention, Republican Gov Schwarzenegger.

Now, lest someone says, “there’s always a few bad apples in any Party,” recall that on Andrew Sandlin’s chat board during the 2004 election campaign, he and his amen corner, especially Kevin Johnson and little Davy B, raved about Schwarzenegger like the Godfather schoolgirls when Johnny Fontaine arrived, and viciously slapped back any factual criticism.

This is what happens when a rabid Party spirit infects even good people.

And it is why extracting the Republican Party from the Christian Right’s thinking is as urgent as amputating a gangrenous limb. In the political sphere, there is no task more important.

  6. Christians really need to be aware of how public schools are fulfilling the agenda of those who are anti-Christian

  7. Alex Linder does a masterful discussion of the home schooling movement here. There are only a few obscenities, and mostly appropriate. It is interspersed with some pop music that is interesting if I do say so myself. It’s about three hours — skip the music if you are in a hurry. Download first so you can surf in your player.
