Dresden still on my mind

History

Today is the 71st anniversary of the day the British napalmed Carnival-costumed children in Dresden. The next day, the Americans flew in and strafed the survivors.

Take a moment today to pause and remember.

Today, the rulers installed by their conquerors are obviously trying very hard to replace the German people themselves in their very land — and not just the Germans, of course. Dresden has become a focus for the push-back movement, almost as if people feel in their bones that for Europe to survive it will have to survive Dresden… again.  Noteworthy is that some are very understandably looking toward Christian Russia for succor.
